Don't Exchange Girls for Cows, Give Them Education

Our designs were patterned after Kenya and Tanzania government posters bearing this message. In parts of rural Africa, cattle are exchanged for a young bride. This usually puts an end to the girl’s education. Opponents of this tradition believe that an educated girl will raise the standard of living for her family and community.
