Golf Tees

A golf tee is a small peg, made of wood and is used used to elevate a golf ball slightly off the ground for the first stroke on a hole. Its purpose is to allow the golfer a cleaner strike and potentially greater distance and accuracy. Tees are inserted into the ground with the ball resting on top.
