Math Simplified

So many of us, myself included, are placed into high school algebra, then geometry classes. Maybe these are followed by trigonometry, and even calculus. As a master guest teacher, the problem, as I see it, is created by a lack of pre-algebra understanding. Before "getting' the higher-levels of math, we need to absorb the basic relationship of numbers of 10, its multiples, and related percentages, fractions, proportions. Our brain, a wonderful computer/estimator that gets us through life, uses daily such basic-number relationships, whether waiting to cross a busy street, or catch a football plyer on them field.
