Tape Resist Paintings

This is a collection of paintings that are all original and used handmade paints, all within the USA. These paintings are done using washi tape to set borders and painted between/over, then peeled off to reveal crisp clean lines between color block, patterned, and accented pieces. This collection features a wide range of paintings that have been scanned in a high resolution to ensure superb image quality. One of my favorite aspects of this process is seeing the pigment and water flow during the painting process. They are very colorful and full of unique patterns, no two pieces are alike.
