Christmas Chaos Collection: Rhino Dankeskarte

This white rhino got a bit tangled in the Christmas tree decorations! He probably shouldn’t have been munching on the tree… These brilliant African beasts are known for their giant horns that grow from their snouts – hence the name “rhinoceros’, meaning “nose horn”. These incredible horns are made of keratin, which is also the same key protein that makes up human hair and fingernails. Nevertheless, rhino horns are highly sought after by poachers and rhinos, though wonderful, are a sadly dwindling animal species. Thankfully, there are many amazing charities and organisations working hard to keep them safe.
