A_Heart_On_A_String

"A Heart on a String" represents my love (the heart) for beading and crochet (the string), and really all things crafts - as well as my love for hearts in general. You will see LOTS of heart-based designs here, although I am working hard to focus on designs that don't include hearts too, because I know I will ultimately go there over and over again. It's not just about heart graphics though. It's really about the HEARTS OF PEOPLE - and how they intersect with the heart of God. And especially about the HEARTS OF MOMS and their influence on the hearts of their families. I have a special place in my heart for the homeschooling mom, having been one and having supported many for decades of my life. Homeschooling my own children through different stages & grades, and teaching math to hundreds of homeschooled students over a twelve year period has impacted MY heart in incredible ways, and being on the admin team of a large homeschooling PSP was so rewarding and fulfilling. In my life, I can look back and see incredible influence and impact made by specific teachers I had, and I pray that I have made a lasting impact on those who were in my classroom, because they certainly have made an impression on my heart. In this new chapter, as my children are all grown and I have retired from the PSP, I want to still impact and give back to those communities and families that have meant so much to me, and shaped so much of my life and my heart.
