Hello! I’m Amy, a London-based fine art illustrator and surface pattern designer creating vibrant, detail-rich artwork for greeting cards, prints, stationery, and homeware. My work is inspired by the beauty of everyday objects, fashion, film, and nature, with a strong love for bold colour and playful, distinctive patterns that bring personality into everyday spaces. Each design begins as a hand-drawn pencil sketch on paper, forming the foundation of my creative process. From there, I often develop the artwork digitally using tools like Adobe Photoshop and Procreate. Blending traditional techniques with digital methods allows me to experiment freely, refine details, and explore new creative directions while keeping an organic, hand-crafted feel. Colour plays a central role in everything I create. I enjoy building layered compositions and testing different palettes to find combinations that feel fresh, expressive, and full of life. Whether I’m designing a striking standalone illustration or a seamless surface pattern, my goal is always to create something joyful, eye-catching, and thoughtfully made. Alongside developing my own collections, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with well-known institutions such as the Museum of London and The National Archives, where I created exclusive illustrations and surface patterns for exhibition merchandise. Through my work, I aim to turn everyday inspiration into beautiful, uplifting designs that people can connect with and enjoy in their daily lives.
