I am in awe of the wild places of America. In my AncientVoices Shop I feature Images of ancient wonders made by nature and human hand. These are places I have enjoyed on hikes and visits where whispers of the ancients have echoed all around, a bridge from the past to today. I grew up in Germany where my dad was stationed although he was born and grew up in New Mexico. Visiting my family there and traveling in the Southwest was eye opening, wonderful and something I remember fondly. I also remember the colorful stories of my friends who grew up in the United States and had visited National Parks. Although I was visiting the castles on the Rhine and grand cathedrals in Germany, it was my great dream to visit the American National Parks someday too. Many years later our family enjoys traveling in our camper to see the National Parks and Monuments and do some of the greatest iconic hikes in these wild places. My kids are Junior Park Rangers and I admit that I enjoy helping them with their booklets to each park we visit!
