Self Taught Eric Colbert always had a love for drawing, and for over 40 years learned drawing through experimentation. He had the privilege to Study the works of Walt Disney, Paul Cale’ Rembrandt, Frank Frazeta, and Norman Rockwell. From this inspiration grew an ability to render life-like forms, with a professional accuracy. One of Eric 's first gallery store showings was a set of pencil drawings of famous people of the twentieth century. Eric attended Prince Georges Community College (PGCC). Taking courses ranging from Pencil Drawing, Oil Painting, and Advertising Illustration. Even though he decided to pursue a communications career, he continued his love for art. Co-workers were amazed in Eric’s ability to create drawings that had such accuracy in his subjects. He completed several commissions, which earned a small income along with his regular salary. He continues to please customers by attending art shows and completing special request orders.
