Curmudgeon Cards

For the past 23 years, I have been a greeting card designer - primarily known for my signature, handmade, one-of-a-kind collaged art cards which use postage stamps from around the world embellished with upcycled textiles. However, in 2008, my now-late husband Ken was grappling with losing his eyesight and I started to doodle and illustrate eyes as a way to process and reflect on this challenging situation we were dealing with. As a self-taught artist and writer, I have been able to turn my grief into art and have since created a line of whimsical and oddball lovable characters whose skewed humor and way of looking at the world offer kick-butt wisdom to look at challenges with a fresh perspective.
