I'm Barbara Elder, an author living in Colorado. I started Dancing Druid as an outlet for my designer side, a desire to share some of my favorite images with others. I've always been a fan of vintage illustration, from Neil's work on the Oz series, to Ford's amazing illustrations in Andrew Lang's Fairy books. The beautiful symbology of the tarot has always intrigued me, and given the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, my art has leaned a bit dark. My love of words leads me to find quotes that are engaging, thoughtful, or just hilarious. Here you'll also find designs based on my book, Rhiannon's Tale. Enjoy!
