Our family moved to Texas from England in 1992. We planned to stay for 2 or 3 years before returning home but 18 years later we are still here. We live at the beach in a house on stilts and, apart from the occasional tropical storm/ hurricane (we survived Ike!), I am loving it. Sun, sea, sand - it's almost perfect!
