The Grumpy Olde Medic Shoppe

I am Canadian! I have been a paramedic for roughly 30 years, 15 years ago starting my own sports medic service. Hence, the name of my gallery. I am a grumpy olde medic. My hero was my dad who was a strong, silent man of character. My uncle, a WW II war vet. My other favourite hero's are John Wayne and Ronald Reagan for their ideology and passion for strong country. Even if they were American! Like them, I still believe, as a white, Anglo-Saxon, male, heterosexual, Christian that there is honour, truth and justice in standing up for God, Queen and Country. And for other things that are just plain, Right! Calling a spade, a spade, not a shovel, so to speak. I believe our veterans should be honoured and that our reputation of being a "kind and friendly" people should not be taken as a sign of weakness. These are the codes and ideals I live by and hope to instil in my son who is growing faster then I am able to hold onto him. I am Gemini in the truest sense, so that may explain a few things. I am always trying to learn new things about computers, myself, and hidden talents I probably don't have but never went looking for to find out. I am an insane movie and classical music student enjoying both as often as possible while critiquing them all the way. It drives my friends crazy. I am also a frustrated comedian and shameless ham. Humour is in the timing and almost everything in life has an element of sarcasm involved. Life was not meant to be taken to seriously otherwise God would have never made people.
