I come from a family brimming with artistic talents. My great-grandfather, William Merritt Post (1856-1935), was an American artist that made a living from his art. He is known for his oil paintings of rural landscapes, almost always with a meandering stream, and generally in autumn colors. Then there is my father, Richard Kelly, who earned a living as a graphic artist. He was often excited and tickled by his drawings. He was an illustrator, folder of paper, haiku poet, painter, and experimented with a wide range of arts. And my mother, Fran Kelly (aka Duckydaddles) is an artistic powerhouse. She has created art her whole life, from painting to soaping, from doll making to computer art. At 87 years old, it's like she's just started her journey!! Other members of the family have also enjoyed making art.
