I'm a United States Navy Veteran who served as a GSE ( Gas Turbine System Technician - Electrical ) from 1999 to 2003. I created the LM2500 cartoon gas turbine while deployed on the USS Hawes (FFG-53), standing one of many watches, using copy paper and a government issue black ink pen. Almost twenty years later I wanted to share the design with my fellow GSEs, GSMs and anyone else who's trade deals with gas turbines. I continue my career working on gas turbines like GE 7EA, Pratt Whitney FT4, FT8 and Mitsubishi 501GAC, so you can count on more designs to come. My creativity has always been critical tool in my career but now I'm utilizing it in a more traditional sense and sharing my art.
