Island_Reflections

Island Reflections is a personal homage to my Samoan heritage and upbringing. My designs are inspired by the unique and rich artwork of the Pacific islands and the legacy of my late father with whom I shared my passion for art and Polynesian culture. My father was an artist and graphic designer and Island Reflections was actually the name of his business when he was alive. After his passing I kept it going for a brief time until I had decided to leave the island, but even after all these years, nothing has been as fulfilling as my love for this craft. My father did all of his art and craftwork by hand, and it is a tradition that I hope to continue as well in my journey as an artist as I share my passion with others. Although I specialize in Polynesian designs, I am not limited to them and am always looking for new ideas and inspiration to express through art what words cannot.
