I completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours from the University of Manitoba. I majored in painting and sculpture and completed my thesis in Raku firing techniques. I an forever trying new mediums and since I moved to Australia I have not had a kiln. This had lead to experimentation in fabric arts as well as more painting and drawing. I am in the process of publishing an adult colouring book with my Folk Art inspired pen and ink drawings. Since moving to Australia a few years ago it has also expanded my photography as I am forever finding new and interesting subject matter. This also lead me into working with kaleidoscopes as a way to create art out of everyday objects. I really hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoy creating them. It is also a great way for me to relax as I am a Drug and Alcohol clinician and the counselling role can be quite challenging. I suggest art therapy to many people as a way to clear the mind in a hectic world.
