Welcome to My Happy Heart Art! My name is Debbie Barrow - Stay at home mom, cook, housekeeper, diaper changer, dog bather, avid reader and artist extraordinaire. I started this adventure after having my first son Julian Beau. He was my true inspiration. I found myself yearning to create, and so between diaper changing, breastfeeding, and crawling; I created. I painted. I cried. I laughed. Then, My Happy Heart Art was born. Everything I had only dreamed of, was becoming a reality, thanks to all of the encouragement and positive feedback I received! I like to use my art to express emotion. I have chosen to focus on the emotion: HAPPY, and I am sticking to it! I have a habit of writing quotes all over (red lipstick is mainly used for that purpose - since I never get out anymore!) hence, the reason I use quotes in much of my art. To ignite and inspire optimistic outlooks! My greatest accomplishment in life is my son, Julian. He is my whole and happy heart. I am passionate about being a mommy, playing in the dirt, loving in the ocean, breathing in the air of different lands, and smelling the sweet scents of life. I practice yoga, meditation, I read endlessly, stay hydrated (sometimes with a good bottle of wine), dance, explore and create art for beautiful souls!
