Since I was wery young, I have always loved looking at maps, using my finger to follow the roads, coastlines and boundaries to see where they ended. My greatest wish for my 8 year birthday was an atlas, and yes, a a little boy I also wanted toys, but my greatest desire in the world was nothing less than an atlas. And I it got. My love of maps, coupled up with my love for antique things, creates a perfect craving for old maps, and certainly old artwork in general. Where reality go to a party somewhere in town, I'll just look the old alchemy book through, to see if there would be a beautiful illustration. Or old children's books, to see if there could be some perfect illustrations that would fit well in my daughters' rooms. I hope my love for maps and olds is passed on to the next generation, it would be so wrong that old illustrations should just disappear into nowhere. But in the meantime I will ensure that others can see the beauty in history, by making these elegant replications on the perfect paper, for the perfect illustrations.
