Growing up in NYC and loving the beautiful game when it wasn't too popular in the states grew from watching Mexico'86 huddled around a black and white TV in a Brooklyn apartment drinking ice cold Yoo-hoo with my Danish grandfather while cheering on Mike Laudrup and the dynamite, and inspired a life long passion for the game, for playing, and football moments and personalities on and off the pitch.
