Psycho-Tease

Hi, my name is Dr. Dianne Ruth. One afternoon in 1988, I was sitting in my counseling office in Los Angeles during a brief downtime period between patients when a cosmic hand reached inside my head and flipped open a floodgate. A jumble of ideas tumbled into my brain with such wild abandon that I was compelled to scribble them down as fast as I could. Looking at what I had written, I realized that many of the statements were crazy, funny, psychological, and shocking. These would be really great on T-shirts and other products, I thought. It also came to me that the name of this venture had to be Psycho-Tease. Throughout the years, the faucet has continued to flow more ideas and designs into my head on a daily basis. In 1991, I met Judie Keys who owned a highly successful model train store that she had built from the ground up. I told Judie about my ideas and she was intrigued. She eventually sold her business and together, we have been researching, taking classes, studying and developing our plans. Our vision is to build communication and connection between people through creating products that display personal statements, some of which are ironic, some with double meanings, some serving as ice breakers, and some are tongue in cheek humor. Now we are ready to share them with you and the world!
