My name is Simona Candini, I’m an Italian artist, living in the United States since 2010. Art has always been my refuge, a secret magic place where anything can happen! I have been drawing and painting since I was a child. Following my dream is a fantastic journey which has allowed me to meet extraordinary people that enriched my life. I was born and raised in Bologna, Italy, where I earned my degree at the Art Academy. I also had the possibility to attend to the Octavia Monaco's illustration class, that was an amazing experience of growth. In the past I experimented a lot with different medias, but I'm now dedicated to acrylic painting, wich is my favorite. I had the opportunity to expose my works at several collective art exibitions in Italy and to have some pieces published on the periodical "La Luna di Traverso" edited by Comune di Parma. I recently moved to the United States and I lived in beautiful Washington State for a while. I'm now living in Tampa, Florida , with my husband and our two little dogs. I Love the warm weather here!
