Spärhusen, a pop supergroup formed in Sweden in November 1969. Spärhusen (Beirget Kattsson, Olf Nystrom and Gert Forseberg) ruled the Scandinavian charts from 1969 to 1974 with raucous hits like "Ice Fishing", the thoughtful "Midnight at the Fjord" and "ID", Beirget's "Candy" the revenge song, and of course their biggest hit "Apples and Fish." After 35 years, following the discovery of an unreleased 1972 documentary about them, the band is rumored to be reuniting for a tour to support their greatest hits album: 'Best of Spärhusen' due in October 2009.
