Young Taylor M.A.D.E. The 25-year-old Carson, California native is ready to unleash his talent on the world with his debut mixtape, Welcome To The Re-Up State hitting the streets in July. After only one year on the scene, he’s making a name for himself with his contagious flow and unique outlook on the rap game. “My goal is to be rich, not famous,” he says. After rapping for the reigning King of The Hyphy movement, Keak the Sneak, Young Taylor headed to Oakland to hone in on his craft. Six months on the grind, he was touring California on the Dub Auto Show tour and opening for the likes of E-40, Slim Thug, Paul Wall, and Keyshia Cole. A natural-born entrepreneur, he has owned his own businesses since he was 22 and plans to continue to use that business sense in his music career. “My focus is not to be the rap nigga with the money and the chains and all the bullshit. I wanna be the rap nigga that owns businesses and gives jobs to people.” Don’t expect to hear the same old shit when Young Taylor picks up the mic. “I’m bringing a new flow to the game,” he says. “I rap about every aspect of what I’ve been through and put my life on display.”
