Do you know what everyone with single sided deafness lack? Pride. If you look at people talk about their sexuality or their disability, you will see all kinds of amazing looking things which all gives you pure joy. But with single sided deafness there's a more hushed undertone. It's not something that is talked about or openly displayed. It's the same if you search for it. Everyone of them is some kind medical article which says the same thing over and over. "How to treat Single Sided Deafness". I don't want that. I don't want you open up about your hearing just for someone to say "you poor thing". I want you to feel that you can go outside and wear your deafness as a badge of honor and look fierce and stylish at the same time. I want you to be proud.
