Über mich/uns

I use state–of–the-art suite of High Dynamic Range (HDR) photographic equipment and software applications for almost all of my photos. The HDR process merges many layers of photographic images to optimize the focus and clarity of highly 3-dimensional. HDR allows me to create images that can be expanded many times their original size into dramatic works of art. My Digital Art utilizes state of the art technologies to achieve the artistic effects I need in my cutting edge art work. Many artful abstract effects are achieved exclusively in camera. The effect can be ethereal, almost lending a mysticism to mundane objects. It’s a different way to see our environment and I love sharing these images with the viewer. However, I have full command of the Adobe Photoshop arsenal and am experimenting with these techniques as I expand my artistic photography repertoire. These techniques are used in digital recreation for archival photo restoration and where my own photographic images are transformed into artful renditions emulating watercolors, oils or pen and ink sketches. The effect can be ethereal, almost lending a mysticism to mundane objects. It’s a different way to see our environment and I love sharing these images with the viewer I respect and enjoy continuing education in my field of interest. I have studied with Rick White and Marcus Pfitzner in separate workshops at the Mendocino Art Center and I have completed numerous courses at CSUF Summer Art programs with notables such as Rich Seiling, Jack Davis, and George Lepp. I hold a BA from CSU-LA. I has worked in graphic design since 1985. I left Cal Emblem Labels, where I was employed in the art department as a designer, to establish my own freelance graphics art business, specializing in the field of digital photography, photo restoration and web design.
